Sitting in the car, Grace held Colin's hand as he drove. She watched him glancing at her, kissing her hand and smiling with that spark in his eyes. She
knew Colin couldn't wait to touch her. Grace couldn't wait either. She craved him, loved him, wanted him to know that everyday. The longer she was with
him, the more Grace felt her walls of polished behavior falling. She felt she could be more herself. With Colin, playful and affectionate were at the top of
the list.

Colin could barely concentrate on his driving. The touch of her lips and her words made him want her more than he could almost control. They were almost to
his apartment. He thought to gun the car even faster, but debris on the streets made him wary to drive faster than he already was. Colin hoped his apartment
was undamaged.
At this point a wall would do. A table...or simply the back seat of his car. "Grace," her name drawn out with longing and promise of what he would do to her. His tires squealed as he pulled into the parking lot of his building. There was no apparent major damage. Colin flew out of his car and around to open Grace's door before she'd had a chance to unbuckle her seat belt. His hand reached out to hers. "Come." It was a promise. ![]() |

The heat in his voice melted through her completely. Grace's hand was firmly in Colin's as they hurried up the stairs to his apartment. It may have
been damaged during the hurricane. It may not have. Grace's full attention, as well as her lips and hands, were on Colin. His arm was tight around her
waist, his mouth on hers in a hungry kiss as he opened the door.
Once inside, she felt him kick the door closed. Clothes were strewn across the floor as quickly as could be pulled off their bodies. Her panties were the last barrier to slip from her. Before they could touch the floor, Grace found herself pressed against the wall beside the bedroom door. Her arms and legs tangled around Colin's body in a fury of passion that left her head spinning. "It's the quiet ones you have to watch out for." |

The two of them lay sated and exhausted...sprawled and tangled together on Colin's rug. They never made it inside the bedroom.
Colin leaned on one elbow and grinned at Grace.
"Wow, love. That was more than amazing." He finally caught his breath and pulled in a deep one. His index finger pushed some stray hairs off her face. Colin's fingers stroked through her silky blonde hair. He leaned over and gently kissed her lips. "I love you, Grace Turner." Colin whispered to her before his lips brushed hers again. ![]() |

Stretched out on the beach. Colin's lips and hands on her. What a time for the phone to ring. She looked up from where her head rested on Colin's
chest. After making love slowly and deliberately, falling asleep on the floor was perfect. Grace hated to move. She looked over as her phone rang again.
"It's the quiet ones you have to watch out for." |

Colin woke up and gave a big yawn. They'd worked hard that day. Grace was sound asleep. She might wake up for a minute, but he wasn't going to make
her lie here for too long. He scooped her up in his arms. She stirred a bit.
"Just taking you to bed, Grace. I don't want you to have too much rug burn on that gorgeous skin of yours." One hand cradled her fine bum. Her skin was smooth as silk. Grace was such a fine girl in every way. Colin liked that she was all woman. He laid her gently down on his bed and slipped in aside of her. His big arms wrapped around her. "Sleep, love." ![]() |

When she woke, Grace glanced over at the clock. Eight o'clock in the evening. She and Colin had worked, made love, and slept the day away.
She turned over to slip her arm back around him. So handsome and peaceful as he slept. His arm curled around the pillow. The muscles in arm bunched and appearing larger. The tattoo tightly stretched around his bicep. Grace wasn't sure why she loved looking at Colin's tat so much. It was simply alluring to her. Even more than alluring, waking up next to Colin was comforting. She kissed across his arm, over his shoulder, his cheek. She whispered his name softly as she pressed adoring kisses until he woke. "Hello handsome. How does a long shower and a nice dinner sound?" "It's the quiet ones you have to watch out for." |

"Mmm, okay, love. You can go first." Colin yawned. He was still half asleep. Then he realized what he'd said. He opened his eyes wide and
looked at her.
"Grace, I can't think of anything I'd like better than taking a shower with you. Well, I actually can think of one thing I like better. The shower may help that along." He grinned at her and eased them toward the edge of the bed. Colin's hands moved all over her body. Hey, he needed some more practice in washing her. ![]() |

Grace smiled as she eased out of bed. Her hands were on him as much as his were on her. "Come handsome. I'm going to take complete advantage of you
talented, wandering hands in the shower." The floors of the hall and bathroom were clear. Neither she or Colin were wearing any clothes that needed to be
peeled away. Sleeping naked next to the man she loved was pure heaven.
Under the hot water of the shower, Grace massaged Colin's body with a washcloth. It did take some effort to reach all parts of his well-muscled body as he was nibbling and caressing her. With every passing moment, Grace wanted Colin more. Loved him more. She dreaded the idea of leaving soon. She curled her fingers through his hair to rinse the shampoo away. She kissed him then grinned softly. "Do you have plans for our last day together tomorrow before I leave?" "It's the quiet ones you have to watch out for." |

Colin didn't even want to think about her leaving. He didn't want seem possessive, but he sure didn't want her to go. Grace had a life before she
met him. She had to go back and make sure he was worth coming back to. If he wasn't then it wasn't real. They were just a summer fling for her. A
holiday romance.
"My only plans are to spend the day with you, love. Making memories." He grinned at her. Pushing the underlying sadness away. "Wake up with you. Make love to you. Eat with you. Make some more love. Did you want to spend the day at the beach? Or did you have something else in mind?" Colin pulled Grace into his embrace and kissed her passionately as the water sluiced down over them. Whatever they decided to do tomorrow would be fine with Colin as long as he was with Grace. The bottom line is he loved Grace and he was going to miss her something fierce when she was gone. ![]() |

In a few short days, Colin had brought passion and love to her life. Something Grace had not realized how much it had been missing. How much she had longed
for it. Some of her years were wasted in shallow marriages that left her wealthy, but hollow, lonely, and at times cold. She could feel all of that changing
now. Being in love with Colin, being loved by him changed everything.

"Sure, love. If that's what you want and would make you happy." Colin smiled and brushed her hair back off her face.
"Isn't it funny, Grace? We both were crazy attracted to one another right from the first. Now we're in love." He grinned. "And still crazy attracted to each other." He kissed her and smoothed his fingers across her soft face. Colin could spend a day touching Grace and he would still want more. ![]() |

The next morning, Grace slipped out of bed to make breakfast. She liked being able to enjoy cooking again. She wasn't necessarily good in the kitchen. But who could mess up bacon and eggs? If she did, Colin hadn't said anything. With a smile as she slipped back into bed next to him with the tray. She thought if they were going to live together, he'd better say something if he didn't like her cooking. Grace laid a gentle hand on Colin's shoulder to wake him. He said he wanted her to stay with him. If he meant living together, she wasn't sure. Her flight was that evening. She had to figure out what he wanted. There was a house in Virginia she would have to deal with. She admired him for a moment. Laying on his stomach, head buried in the pillow, his arms wrapped around it. Colin was right; Grace was crazy, hopelessly attracted to him. She dropped a kiss to the tattoo that circled his thick bicep. "Colin, wake up handsome. Or I'll have to find a more effective way of getting your attention." She traced her finger over his shoulder and down his arm. "It's the quiet ones you have to watch out for." |
