"Oh, now that was much better. This time you didn't miss a spot, Cynthea." He wrapped his arms tightly around her. "How's that, love?" Jack grinned sweetly at her and then laughed as he flexed his biceps.
"Well, at least the arms still have some muscles thanks to the crutches. That's more than I can say for my chicken legs." He squawked as he looked down at them and gave her a wink. "Once we're in Oz and we can go surfing again, the swimming will build them back up. I can't wait till you can meet my olds and see our beaches." He stroked his fingers down the soft skin of her back.
